Palos Park

Great south suburb with some good housing stock, but you have to look for it. There were different eras of construction here - early 1900s and 50s and 70s.

Wonderful south suburb near hiking, riding and mountain bike trails. You'll find many equestrian properties and a smattering of really great vintage homes.  Palos Park was settled as a get-away from city life so when you find older homes here, they often come with sizable land and delightful interiors.  Much of the housing stock was built between the 1950s and 1980s with and in many sizes - there's something for everyone.

Palos has a nice strip of restaurants and bars as well as beautiful parks and recreation.
